Sneaker Design
2018
During this course, the prompt was to design an athletic shoe, more specifically some kind of sneaker. Starting off with a last, I covered it in tape to find the sizes for the pattern of the shoe. I then cut off the tape and started several iterations of patterns, and many sketch models of the upper. The midsole was modeled on SolidWorks and then 3D Printed. This design includes a leather strap around the back of the ankle to provide support and to lock in the laces against the foot.
