Kelsey Malone

For my 2 semester Capstone project I chose to create a tiny house in which the design was more focused on the homeowner.  To do this, I primarily looked at the kitchen and the best ways to have people interact with it.  After researching zoning laws and building codes, sketches were drawn of 3 different sized houses.  I had decided on making a 300 square foot house after much deliberation.  I then made a full sized model of the kitchen and sent volunteers through it and took notes on what needed to be changed in order to increase efficiency.  The resulting house is 300 square-feet total, with an outdoor covered patio.
