The goal of this project was to recycle scrap wood and create a desk top piece to help organize said desk space.  Using three pieces of scrap poplar wood, glued together, and two pieces of cabinetry plywood, a tape dispenser with a pencil holding space was made.  This has a linseed oil/polyurethane 50/50 mix to seal the wood while maintaining the natural colors that the piece shows.
